This is a cabinet display I designed for the foyer of a cinema to market the release of the Sony film Madame Web.
I was given 3 sections of a glass display cabinet to decorate. I began by measuring the dimensions of the shelves so that I could create guidelines when I was drawing. As the film was about superheros I made the main focus of the display the characters. For the title shelf I looked at comic books and how they format their titles. To assemble it I printed the characters and backgrounds out seperately. I made small standees out of cardboard so that the characters and title could stand up on their own, this created a nice 3D effect.
The display was very well recieved by the cinema and customers - it attracted attention and got people talking about the film.
